Team Overview

The product organization at Scytl is in charge of designing and developing its core online voting platform. We are busy disrupting the election industry by making voting more accessible, efficient, transparent and secure. We are continuously looking for talented individuals who will share our passion for designing and building great software that powers democracy around the world. 

Position Overview

We are looking for a QA Performance engineer to design, implement, run and oversee the performance testing strategy that will help increase the quality of our mission-critical software used by millions of users.

Main responsibilities and duties:


• Solid experience of performance, load, stress, data interface and data migration tests. 

 • Solid experience in test automation processes and tools (e.g. Selenium, JMeter, Artillery, Cucumber, Protractor, …),  scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, ansible,) and Java/JavaScript.

• Solid knowledge in profiling tools such as jprofiler, New Relic, Java mission control, etc.

 • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, writing and executing queries as well as query optimization, index, manipulation, etc…

Deep knowledge of web workflows: HTTP/HTTPS protocols, stickiness, cookies, REST, web sockets, load balancing, Tiemouts, etc…

• Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development and Test-Driven Development principles. 

• Experience testing RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.

• Working experience using QA tools like TestRail, and issue tracking tools like JIRA.

• 5 years of experience in a software company or department.

• Excellent English, both spoken and written.

• University degree, in Computer Sciences or related field.

Extra points for:

• ISTQB certification.

• Working knowledge of Java or another object-oriented programming language.
