Amazon is seeking a senior commercial leader to join our Prime Video content team and grow Prime Video business in Europe. This individual will be responsible for helping to define and, in turn, execute the content acquisition strategy for Prime Video in Spain.

In addition to strong negotiation skills, and experience of the local market, the ideal candidate is a critical thinker who has an attention to detail, an ability to juggle multiple priorities, is cool under pressure, and isn’t afraid to roll his/her sleeves up as needed. S/he has experience in working with local and international content owners, negotiating complex agreements, developing new business models and delivering results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. S/he must have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate thoughts and ideas, both written and verbally, and think outside of his/her direct sphere of responsibility.

Key responsibilities
· Own and execute the content acquisition strategy for Prime Video in Spain
· Build a plan to have the most compelling content for Amazon customers
· Develop and document acquisition plans, financial metrics and goals for senior management
· Help studios, TV broadcasters and content owners/aggregators to conceptualize new subscription services that Amazon customers will love
· Use customer behavior, usage and consumption data to inform decision-making
· Build and manage relationships with senior-level leaders at content providers
· Lead relationships with studios, channel groups and more niche video media organizations
· Manage all aspects of content negotiations regarding content selection, financial analysis, forecasting, and technical requirements
· Work with in-house and external legal counsels
· Collaborate with internal teams across all functional areas within Amazon Prime Video
· Maintain a can-do attitude and a willingness and flexibility to solve problems at short notice, using any tools necessaryREQUISITOS BÁSICOS

For this role we require:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
· Extensive experience in content licensing and/or business development, including strong negotiations and partner development skills
· Commercial thinking with strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Entrepreneurial drive/initiative
· Must be enthusiastic, enjoy working hard and getting things done, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
· Proven track record in establishing commercial relationships with third parties and proven ability to negotiate complex license or business development agreements
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills (e.g. ability to use and modify data sets in Excel, write SQL queries and export data, etc.)
· Deep knowledge of the TV and digital video markets in Europe
· Experience in either a large content group (channel group or studio), acquirer of content (e.g. Pay TV) or media rights
· Good contacts and relationships across the video media industry
· Fluent in English and Spanish
· Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills
· Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment
· Ability to work with and influence peer teams internationallyREQUISITOS DESEADOS

Further qualifications would be a plus:
· Outstanding academics from top-tier university/MBA
· Previous experience in consulting
· International content licensing or business development experience
· Solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
